While the former was introduced on August 7, the latter went live on September 19 during the Ganesh Chaturthi celebration.
Airtel Xtreme AirFiber, billed as “India’s first wireless home WiFi service powered by 5G Plus,” now faces competition from Reliance Jio’s AirFiber, which debuted on Ganesh Chaturthi a day ago.
On August 7, Xtreme AirFiber, a fixed wireless access (FWA) product, became live. Its Jio counterpart, likewise, provides fiber-like internet speed over the air without the use of wires.
