Junaid Khan, Aamir Khan’s son, will appear in the YRF-Netflix film Maharaj alongside Jaideep Ahlawat, Sharvari, and Shalini Pandey.
Junaid Khan will make his acting debut in a Yash Raj Film production. Junaid Khan, Aamir Khan’s eldest son, will appear in Maharaj, which will be released on Netflix.
Jaideep Ahlawat, Sharvari Wagh, and Shalini Pandey also appear in Maharaj. Siddharth P Malhotra, whose last film was Hichki with Rani Mukerjee, directed the film.
According to a source, “Maharaj marks the beginning of a deep collaboration between YRF and Netflix.” Previously, the two organizations collaborated on ‘The Romantics,’ a critically acclaimed docu-series that delves into the history of Hindi cinema in India through the lens of Yash Raj Films. They are solidifying their partnership for a long-term relationship with Maharaj.”

Maharaj is a David versus. Goliath narrative set in the 1800s about how a normal guy, a writer by trade, takes on a major role for society, acclaimed by many as a messiah for the masses. According to a Netflix press release, “the fearless reporter uncovers a series of incidents that shake the very foundation of society.”
Junaid is Aamir’s first marriage’s son with Reena Datta. Aamir and Reena had another kid, Ira Khan. Aamir later married Kiran Rao and has a kid with her, Azad Rao Khan. Aamir and Kiran have also divorced.
On Friday morning, YRF teased new projects in a post. “Netflix and Yash Raj Films team up to usher in a new era of blockbusters!” “Coming soon,” they said in the post. The Railway Men, a four-part series starring R. Madhavan, Kay Kay Menon, Divyendu Sharma, and Babil Khan, is the second project they’ve revealed. It’s a ‘character-driven’ thriller directed by newbie Shiv Rawail.
