Recently released photographs of third-party iPhone 15 Pro imitation cases indicate a design modification in the area of the mute switch cutout, implying that the rumored action button is true.
The iPhone 15 series, which could comprise the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus, is scheduled to be unveiled in September. However, photographs of what look to be iPhone 15 Pro cases have leaked ahead of the release, implying the likelihood of one crucial modification that might make its way to the iPhone 15 Pro models: the addition of a new ‘action button.’

According to AppleInsider, a Twitter account called Majin Bu posted photographs of iPhone 15 Pro cases that feature a new third button in place of the mute switch. The button is obscured, implying that the iPhone 15 Pro models will include the speculated action button. However, Majin Bu pointed out that the cases are reproductions rather than genuine ones.
We’ve seen cases for iPhone models from both first-party and third-party manufacturers available immediately away. This is because manufacturers have access to gadget schematics and renders ahead of time, allowing them to prepare accessories ahead of time. As a result, it is theoretically feasible that one such maker acquired official information and manufactured cases for the iPhone 15 Pro ahead of time, taking into consideration design revisions.
Last month, it was believed that Apple’s fourth developer version of iOS 17 may have confirmed the action button hardware feature that will be included with the iPhone 15 Pro models.
According to the fourth developer beta code, the Action Button may offer nine different options that users can tailor and assign to various tasks. Accessibility, Shortcuts, Silent Mode, Camera, Flashlight, Focus, Magnifier, Translate, and Voice Memos are among them.
