The Leela Palace in Mumbai is gearing up for Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha’s royal wedding on September 24. Raghav will travel from one hotel to The Leela Palace in a boat adorned in Mewari style as part of a wedding procession to pick up Parineeti. The boat is also being adorned in a traditional style, in preparation for the bridal procession.
Both the bride’s and groom’s families will be in Udaipur on the evening of September 22. Several prominent chefs have been called separately to provide scrumptious Punjabi food for this wedding. Preparations have been made to greet all guests in Mewari style, with performances of Rajasthan’s Ghoomar dance.
The hotel’s most luxurious Maharaja Suite, which costs roughly Rs 10 lakh per day, has also been reserved for the wedding. This suite is 3500 square feet in size.
The hotel picked by Parineeti and Raghav to make their wedding memorable has been ranked in Travel Plus Leisure’s World Survey Awards – 2023. The Leela Palace has also been named one of the world’s top 100 hotels and one of India’s top five. A New York travel publication named The Leela Palace number one among the world’s greatest 100 hotels in 2019. These honors are granted with consideration for all aspects of the hotel, including location, service, and facilities.
The Leela Palace, which overlooks the hills and Lake Pichola, is a spectacular property that can be reached by boat or by road. The great marble art, Tikri art, and hand carvings add to its beauty. Almost every room in the grandiose hotel has a unique view of the lake. Not only that, but the Taj Palace, City Palace, and the lovely Aravalli valleys can all be seen from the property.
