Ranveer Singh takes over as Don in the third installment of the iconic action franchise ‘Don’.

Ranveer Singh will take over as the new Don in the third installment of Farhan Akhtar’s popular action movie “Don.”

Farhan Akhtar, the actor-filmmaker-producer, has revealed the first look of Don 3 with the phrase “A New Era Begins.”

Several rumours have also stated that star Shah Rukh Khan will not be returning for the franchise’s third installment, and that actor Ranveer Singh will be seen replacing him in ‘Don 3’. Farhan stated yesterday that the third installment of his successful action franchise ‘Don’ will include a new actor. Farhan stated in his post that he plans to take the film series in a new direction with “an actor whose talent and versatility” he has long respected. It will be released in 2025.

“We hope you will show him the same grace and generosity that you have shown Mr Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan.” “In 2025, a new era of Don begins,” the director-writer said in a statement.

He directed the first two installments starring Shah Rukh Khan, the first of which was released in 2006 and the second in 2011.

The 2006 film, which stars Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Boman Irani, and Isha Koppikar, won Best Asian Film at the Neuchatel International Fantastic Film Festival.

The franchise began when Farhan and Ritesh Sidhwani’s Excel Entertainment purchased the rights to the 1978 film of the same name starring Amitabh Bachchan and penned by famous writer team Javed Akhtar and Salim Khan. Ritesh had previously stated in May that the third installment was in the “scripting” stage. “We won’t do anything until my partner (Farhan) finishes writing it.” He is currently in the process of finishing the script… “All of us are looking forward to seeing ‘Don,'” the producer told PTI.
