According to a recent leak, the next iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max (or Ultra) will keep the 128GB storage option for the base edition. According to 9to5Mac, while having the same storage capacity as last year’s 14 Pro Max, the iPhone Pro Max will nevertheless suffer a price rise. The current revelation contradicts previous reports about the iPhone 15 Pro variants’ base storage and price revisions. Previous rumours suggested that Apple would offer 256GB storage for the Pro iPhones to compensate for the price increase.
According to the claim (through TrendForce research), the iPhone 15 Pro will be priced at $999 (Rs 83,100), the same as the iPhone 14 Pro. The iPhone 15 Pro Max, on the other hand, will be $100 more expensive, starting at $1,199 (Rs 99,700). According to an earlier story, the upcoming iPhone 15 Pro models would face a $200 price increase. In India, Apple released the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max for Rs 1,29,900 and Rs 1,39,900, respectively.
According to the rumor, the highest storage capacity for the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max would be 1TB rather than 2TB, as previously stated. The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus currently have up to 512GB of internal storage. The standard iPhone 15 (as well as the iPhone 15 Plus) may have the same storage options (128GB, 256GB, and 512GB).
The Apple iphone 15 lineup will be unveiled on September 12 at the Apple Wonderlust event.
The upcoming iPhone 15 Pro variants are also said to replace the current Gold and Purple colors with grey and dark blue tints. This is because the new colors will most likely match the titanium construction.
Apple also selects colors that complement the smartphone’s frame and overall design. The iPhone Pro has muted colors, but the standard iPhones feature more vibrant selections.
The iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max are also expected to use a new A17 Bionic SoC. Apple may also boast about the chipset’s gaming capabilities, as Qualcomm has begun to include ray-tracing capabilities on the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. Qualcomm may release a new 5G modem to increase connectivity. The camera section could also benefit. Apple will almost certainly replace the telephoto lens with new lenses. Google will also add a periscope-style lens to the telephoto camera on the future Pixel 8 Pro. It will aid in enhanced optical zoom for more detailed portrait pictures.
